Build your standalone solar power panels

Here are the steps to build your homemade solar charge controller inverter system:
1. Planning: Calculate the size of the solar panels you need. You will need some fundamental knowledge in electricity. It does not mean you have to take up in-depth study into this. A good summary of the concepts is what will get you going.
2. Purchasing: You will need to buy the solar cells and other materials. The number of solar cells required is in accordance to your calculation in Step #1. However, how do you make cost vs. efficiency judgment?
3. Execution 1: Build your standalone solar power panels! You will design the layout of your solar panels, connect the solar cells with tabbing ribbon, and protect them with protective materials. Here you might want to call in technical assistance, but it is not always necessary. Clear instructions from trusted source come in handy when there is trouble.
