Manufacturers have not yet found a way to produce panels at
a high and fast rate, which means anybody purchasing solar power grid
tie inverter panel will pay a premium. However, they are in spite of
everything a financially viable option and exceptionally good value for money.
A further cost associated with producing solar power is the maintenance of the
equipment. This is literally minimal, although it does need to taken into
account. Leaving the equipment running on its own accord without maintenance
will result in low production rates and potentially a system failure.
With the economic climate fading rapidly, it is only a
matter of time before solar energy takes the place of conventional electricity
supplies. The difficulty at the moment is the prices are too high, that means
there is not the demand. Electricity cost is continuing to rise, but wages
aren't, so how far off is solar energy from being affordable?
Well, products that produce fc
solar energy need to change several hands before reaching a consumer. Each
hand wants to grasp their share of the gain and the final result means that it
is simply not financially viable to kit out your home with solar based energy
supplies. It has been mentioned that the current common price to kit out a
house is somewhere in the region of $30,000! Bearing in mind that most
households are not possible to expend anything over $1,500 on electricity every
single year, it would take 20 years to recoup the cost. Of course, that is if
you could afford the $30,000 outlay in the beginning, which I'd say most people
cant!
